Invenio Fontes ("I find the sources") is an semantic index of canonical sources designed for Catholic canon law professionals. It enables canonists and academics to use natural language queries to find brief excerpts relevant to their research, with citation to the source text.

This tool is a private research initiative for individuals and does not replace nor provide access to the full and published texts.

How It Works

Invenio Fontes uses semantic search — rather than matching exact keywords, it understands the meaning of your query and finds relevant passages across the document collections. Results are returned as individual paragraphs with full citations, allowing you to locate the precise source material you need.
